The Swiss Travel Pass is valid on all public transport, i.e. on buses, trains and boats. The Swiss Travel Pass is not normally valid on mountain railways, but there are a few exceptions in the Lucerne-Lake Lucerne Region.
You can travel to the following mountains free of charge with the Swiss Travel Pass:
- Rigi
- Stanserhorn (closed in winter)
- Stoos (only as far as Stoos, village)
On the following mountains in the Lucerne-Lake Lucerne Region you receive a reduction (up to 50%) with the Swiss Travel Pass:
- Pilatus
- Bürgenstock
- Titlis
